The Rules

Any TAPPA member institution (community college, junior college, college or university) can enter in the drawing. The only requirement is a brief description of how the institution will select a person to receive the scholarship.

2010 Scholarships are awarded to:

• $1,500 Siemen's Building Technology - presented to ACU

• $2500 Marcis & Associates presented to WCJC-Wharton

• Armko - $1,500 presented presented to Texas A & M College Station

• $500 TCH Services CO. presented to West Texas A&M

• $1000 Jonmar Electric presented to Texas Woman's University

• $1000 Millennium Project Solutions, INC presented to Dallas Theological

• $500 McBride Electric presented to Texas A&M-San Antonio

• $500 TDT Plumbing presented to University Texas Austin

• $500 Holder Construction presented to Tarleton State University

• $500 Castro Roofing of Texas presented to WCJC-Richmond

• $500 Castro Roofing of Texas presented to University of Texas HSC-SA

• $500 Vaughn Construction Co. presented to University of Houston

• $500 Intex Flooring L.L.C. presented to TAMIU

2009 Scholarships are awarded to: 

• Siemen's Building Technology - $1,500 presented to UNT-Denton and accepted by Ron Tarbutton

• Armko - $1,500 presented to Texas A & M International and accepted by Richard Gentry.

• Jonmar Electric Inc. - $1,000 presented to Wharton County Junior College and accepted by Mike Billingsley.

• W. A. Robbins Company - $500.00 presented to UNT Health Science Center and accepted by Stephen Barrett.

• Centennial - $500.00 presented to University of Houston and accepted by James Norcom III.

• Infrastructure - $500.00 presented to University of Houston - Victoria

• Alpha Products - $500.00 presented to University of Houston - Downtown (not present)

• APPA - $1,800 presented to Dallas Theological Seminary - accepted by Dee Littlejohn.

• Armko - $1,500.00 presented to University of Texas - Austin and accepted by Mike Miller (Note: TAPPA will pay for this scholarship).

• Marcias &. Associates - $2,500.00 presented to Eastfield College (not present)
